PILATES CLASS + STRETCHING FLOWS

Discover the ultimate Pilates Stretching Class designed for those eager to explore deeper levels of flexibility and strength. Using the reformer for resistance, you will be guided through Stretching Flows designed to lengthen and mobilise your muscles. This class will challenge your muscle strength, control, and endurance through various positions you'll hold. Experience the joy of stretching and releasing your body's tight areas, under the guidance of our highly skilled instructors. For most people, stretching is a perfect way to reduce tight and tense muscles, increases flexibility and aids in recovery. However, it is important to note that stretching places stress on joints and soft tissues while elongating muscles. Considering its potential impact on individuals due to the nature of the exercises, we have classified it as an intermediate level class.

We recommend you have performed several of our foundation beginner level classes to develop good muscle strength, control and body awareness prior to booking into a stretch class. If you are unsure if the stretch class is suitable for you due to a previous injury or current concern, we suggest you consult a physiotherapist or health professional prior to booking this class.

Who is a Stretch for?

INTERMEDIATE | CONDITIONED BODIES

Ideal for those with reformer experience and eager to explore deeper levels of flexibility and strength. Options are provided throughout the class to allow you to take your body to its own limits. If you have any limitations with your joints (Eg, arthritis, previous surgeries, hyper mobility, etc) that may affect your ability in this class, please consider speaking to our instructors or see one of our Physiotherapists at Malvern Physiotherapy Clinic to see if this is suitable for you.
